There are many people around the world praying for us and supporting us that we thought it would be a good idea to set up a place for you all to track with us on our many adventures in Africa (especially for those of you who have teenagers who may not be the best at keeping in touch on a regular basis). Our internet access will be limited, but we'll do our best to post semi-regular updates.
A little breakdown of how this will work (subject to change as all well-intentioned plans are)...
As the summer progresses we'll use this blog as a place to communicate necessary information, tell our stories, share our prayer requests, and post a picture or two (video maybe? if we're lucky?). We'll try to get input from as many project participants as possible so you'll be able to get more nuanced picture of our experiences. We've enabled comments, so feel free to use them as a means of communication with our team.
Here's what our schedule looks like:
- May 28-June 18 -- Internship in Orlando for our college student leaders on the project
- June 20-July 17 -- Summer Project I
- July 20-August 15 -- Summer Project II
Yes, I am commenting on my own blog post. But just to make sure it works. Not because I actually had anything to say.
ReplyDeleteJanna, thanks for setting this up for us!
ReplyDeleteJanna, thanks for putting this together. It helps supporters like me to pray, in sync with what's going in the field, for our MK2MK project. So appreciate the effort!
ReplyDeleteJanna, this will help parents and supporters to pryer and "feel" connected with you all. Thanks. Looks good too!
ReplyDeleteSharon Whelchel designed the whole thing. Prior to her intervention, it pretty much looked like a sad little word document.
